St Philomena School is an independent Catholic school run by the Fathers of the Society of St Pius X. Initially opened in 1999 as a Primary School, application for approval to extend into secondary education was made and granted in 2011. St Philomena’s now provides both Primary and Secondary education with classes from Prep to Year 12.
Our school is unique in that, from the earliest age, we seek to give a classical education to our children. Of all educational methods, the classical curriculum seems to be the most tried and true. It includes learning Latin, classical studies in Ancient Greek and Roman history, and the study of Logic. Only literary classics are studied in class, and French is also taught from Year 6.
Our academic results are reflected by the myschool website, regularly rating St Philomena School the best in the local area, and one of the best schools in Queensland.
At St Philomena School, we value education for education’s sake, and not merely as a means to something else. A true education includes so much more than mere knowledge and includes the formation of a child’s character.
That is why we have high standards in behaviour, manners and courtesy. In many ways, our education philosophy might be termed “old school”, yet at the same time modern methods and technologies are employed to the degree that they are useful. Nevertheless, St Philomena’s is not about technologies and innovative methods; it is about the children. It is about the development of their individual personalities in such a way as to make full use of the various gifts God has given them, and to share these talents later for the betterment of society.
Canterbury College is committed to strong Christian values, the pursuit of intellectual endeavour, the development of creative ideas and the acceptance of differences and diversity.

The seamless Pre-prep to Year 12 co-educational programme offers a rich curriculum, with opportunities for all students to pursue their dreams through flexible pathways to university, further education, a trade or employment.
St Francis College is a contemporary, multi-cultural school providing high quality Catholic education to all Logan-city families from Prep to Year 12. Our students are accepted as individuals with unique gifts and talents, and are nurtured to achieve their full potential.
One of the great advantages of St Francis College is its Prep to Year 12 co-educational structure that provides all students with a holistic and continuous education throughout all their school years in a familiar environment. We have found that this structure not only promotes the academic success of our students, but also the community atmosphere of the school, enhancing the students’ sense of belonging and self.
At St Francis College, we are inspired by the Franciscan values of simplicity and harmony. ‘Pastoral care’ is embedded within our culture from the way new parents and students are welcomed into the College, to the continuing way that staff and students interact over their learning years. Our staff work in close partnership with parents to foster in each student a desire to learn, and the capacity to make decisions and commitments that will help them grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.
Trinity College is a Catholic school community open to all who wish to participate in the development of the following goals of growth and renewal: shared faith, Catholic identity, high quality education, contemporary curriculum, within an environment of excellent pastoral care.
Founded in 1982, Trinity is a co-educational College that values the diverse range of hopes, talents and skills of our students. We seek to challenge our young men and women to grow into responsible young adults.
Our aim is to create an atmosphere where happiness, trust and understanding are just as much a way of life as are efforts, competition and achievement. We believe that such an environment produces a stable academic climate. This allows each student to develop his or her special talents by learning to respect excellence and striving to achieve it.
We offer a range of traditional academic subjects to prepare for further tertiary study, and work-related courses leading to traineeships and apprenticeships. In addition, our College has forged strong bonds with the local community.
