St. Ambrose's Parish Primary School is an educational institution, registered since 1906 but in existence since approximately 1859, that gives careful attention to academic and personal excellence, in a manner that allows children to develop to the best of their individual ability. We endeavour to provide an environment that welcomes, nurtures and stimulates the children in our school academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally and physically.
We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and endeavour to create an atmosphere of partnership in the educational process between the staff of the school and the parents. The school exists primarily to assist the Parish and its families in the faith development of their children.
Braemar College is an independent, coeducational, ecumenical day school which offers an excellent educational environment for approximately 780 students from Years 5 to 12.
At Braemar we understand that students have intellectual, physical, social, emotional and cultural dimensions. We recognise that if young men and women are known, acknowledged, nurtured and supported they are more likely to achieve their very best in any field of endeavour. Our students are confident and co-operative, helping them to achieve their very best.
We value our sense of community and the contribution our parents and the broader community play in actively supporting the College.
The College is set amongst beautiful bushland on Mount Macedon. We are partly hidden from the world around us but not divorced from the community we serve. This environment, which for many promotes a sense of community, provides a unique, tranquil and beautiful setting.
