Brisbane Boys’ College’s vision is for success for every boy.
Brisbane Boys’ College is a school for boys with day students from Prep to Year 12 and also boarding students from Year 6 to 12. The College currently has an enrolment of 1550 students and has been preparing young men for the challenges of life since 1902.
Junior School (Prep to year 6)
BBC offers an extensive co-curricular program for Junior School students. Boys can choose to play sports, participate in cultural activities or join clubs. The program allows students to learn new skills outside of the classroom and all are encouraged to participate in at least one activity per term.
Middle School (Year 7 to 9)
BBC recognises that adolescent boys have needs and interests that are different from the students in the Junior and Senior School. Our Middle School provides a unique learning environment designed to specifically meet the needs of young men academically, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually in Years 7, 8 and 9.
Senior School (Year 10 to 12)
The senior years represent a time of transition as boys consider their future. At BBC we offer a diverse and flexible program to ensure each boy is able to pursue his pathway of choice. In a rigorous and stimulating academic environment boys are encouraged to become independent learners.
Becoming a boarder at BBC is so much more than having somewhere to live and eat while studying at school. Boarding is a way of life that offers unique opportunities; to meet friends from around the world, develop confidence and independence with support from your houseparents and live with your friends.
Within the context of a caring College community, each student will be nurtured and educated to develop his God-given talents to the best of his ability through a balanced involvement in the academic, spiritual, sporting and cultural life of the College.

St. Ignatius School Community is a faith community centred on Christ and associated closely with our Jesuit parish. Our community of students, parents, staff and clergy is committed to creating an environment in which the Good News flourishes.
As a Catholic school, gospel values are nurtured and all are encouraged to grow in love and service of their neighbour. We work co-operatively towards an informed, welcoming and caring community where each person comes to self-acceptance and self-respect, and each person, equal and unique, is accepted and respected by others.
Parents and staff acknowledge each other’s vital role in the education of students and the need for a strong link between home and school. Together we work to prepare students for their future by providing a supportive and challenging learning environment.
We strive to help all students develop a love of learning, an acceptance and celebration of excellence and effort, and a sense of responsibility so that all may grow to their full potential - spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.
