St Joseph’s Primary School at Merriwa is one of 56 Catholic schools educating 17,000 students in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. In 2013 the College endeavours to provide quality academic programs within a Christian ethos, for children in Kindergarten to Year 10.
Once Primary students reach Year 7, they progress to the Secondary School, situated on the same site. The Secondary School will cater for Years 7 to 12 by 2015.
The College is associated with the Baptist Family Churches of Western Australia, a community of over 100 churches and 12 schools.
