Holy Eucharist School is a small Catholic, co-educational school of 150 students from 5 to 12 years of age. Our school is located in Malvern East and is within a kilometre of the Chadstone Shopping Complex. The majority of families live within walking distance of the school in quiet suburban streets.
The school is part of the Holy Eucharist Parish and is a member of the Melbourne Diocesan school system. Originally established in 1929, the school has recently been refurbished and now consists of a hall, seven classrooms, an art room and library.
Holy Eucharist School maintains a proud reputation as a school where children, parents, friends and staff work together in a wonderfully supportive community environment. We believe in respecting and encouraging people’s talents and valuing the individual. We have an outstanding literacy program, small class sizes and strong academic results.
Founded in 1912, De La Salle is an independent Catholic College for boys Years 4 – 12. Located on two adjacent campuses in Malvern, our College provides a respectful and encouraging environment where strong family values are reinforced.
We have educated our young men for nearly a century in the Lasallian tradition, preparing them to be successful citizens in today’s society. Our Principal, Br Paul Rogers extends his welcome and encourages you to discover the community that is De La Salle College.
With an emphasis on consolidating core knowledge, skills and understanding, our curriculum enables students to develop a deep sense of themselves, others and the wider world.
Partnerships are encouraged between teachers, students, families and the wider community to challenge our students and enlighten their learning. The school is enriched by a committed parent body, and is strongly supported by our dedicated Parish Priest Fr Bill Edebohls. The children at St Mary’s have a strong connectedness to their school and there is a high level of engagement and achievement. We embrace a shared responsibility, based on Gospel values, for the wellbeing of each member of our community.
St Mary’s is recognised as a place of quality teaching and learning, with a strong community spirit. St Mary’s is a school with an innovative and dedicated staff who have a commitment, and whole school approach to transforming pedagogy and building a rigorous curriculum that prepares our students for life long learning. We strive to give our students a deep sense of connectedness to the local and global worlds in which they live.
St Mary’s school is a place where we challenge ourselves and others, and communicate our optimism and confidence in the potential of our students. We have a dynamic, supportive and safe work environment, which inspires a climate of mutual respect, collegiality, trust and support.
