Billanook College is an independent, co-educational Preparatory to Year 12 Uniting Church school situated in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The College commenced operations in 1980 with an enrolment of 140 students. Currently the enrolment is almost 900 students from Preparatory to Year 12 – a testament to the esteem that the College is held in by the local community.
Billanook is a proud open-entry school, welcoming students of all learning abilities, nationalities and faiths. We accept students at all year levels where places are available.
As a school of the Uniting Church in Australia, our Mission is to develop a dynamic, caring learning community which fosters the growth of the whole being of each girl and boy – in body, mind and spirit; providing a range of pathways to life-long learning through and beyond academic excellence.
We warmly encourage your participation and involvement in the life of our school. We look forward to working with you in partnership in educating your child, aligned with our school motto "Growing Together in Mind, Spirit and Body".
It is a great privilege to be the Principal of St. Richard's, Kilsyth. We have a dedicated Staff, a supportive Parish Priest, Fr. Joseph, an enthusiastic parent body and students who are keen to learn. St. Richard's is a welcoming and dynamic school of which we are all very proud.
St Richard's is a place of learning in which the whole child can develop spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and morally in a holistic approach.
We are guided by our School Vision in all that we do- Living the Gospel Learning Together Creating our Future.
