In January 2011, Bankstown Grammar School changed its name to Georges River Grammar. Bankstown Grammar School had long outgrown its local name and drawing area of Bankstown. The new name of “Georges River Grammar” was recognition of this change.

Georges River Grammar offers a well rounded education in a safe, supportive and challenging environment which reflects the Christian values that led to the School’s foundation.

On Saturday 27th of August, the school celebrated 25 years of education in the Bankstown Community with a formal dinner, attended by more than 300 people who have been associated with the school including students, parents and staff
