Belridge Senior High School opened in 1991 and is a world class facility with architectural award winning buildings located on Ocean Reef Road, Beldon, some 25 kilometres NNW of Perth. The educational facilities include a fully integrated computer network linking students to the world. Computer laboratories in the technical graphic, visual art, information technology and library areas complement mini computing laboratories in each learning area. Students have access to the air-conditioned library and performing arts centre. The state of the art Technology and Enterprise learning area has facilities such as a motors and marine workshop, commercial catering facilities and business office equipment. The sporting facilities include a full-size gymnasium, fitness centre, climbing wall and extensive basketball, tennis, netball, hockey, soccer, football, and cricket grounds.
In recent years, air conditioning and a school-wide wireless network access points have been installed in all classrooms. Combined with these modern facilities Belridge SHS has highly qualified and experienced staff.
Student scholarships are awarded each year for entrance to the Performing Arts and Academic Enhancement Programs. Students receive support from the Pastoral Care team, which enables the school to have a high graduation rate with most students gaining placements into university and /or Technical and Further Education (TAFE).
Belridge Senior High School's strong links with the community is reflected in the active Parents and Citizens' group, School Council, community volunteer group and links with the Northbridge Rotary Club.
The school's successes in the Solar Car Challenge, Rock Eisteddfod, drama productions and national competitions in many subjects attest to the commitment, skill and professionalism of the staff.
