St Bede’s Catholic Primary School was established in 1946 by the St Bede’s Parish and since that time has developed a proud reputation for the provision of quality education.
Bede was a committed scholar and educator in the service of God.
With Bede as our model and Christ as our everlasting light, we strive to build a Catholic school community where each is given time and support to learn to know, to do,
to live together and to be.
At St Bridget’s we are strong and courageous. We believe that individuals must stand up for the values expressed in the Gospels (freedom, love. justice, integrity and forgiveness), in spite of fear, failure and retribution.
St Bridget’s Catholic primary school is a community in which faith; culture, doctrine and life are brought into harmony. St Bridget’s is a Christian environment of caring concern, where love and sense of belonging are developed in and for every individual. The Parish Priest, staff, parents and children work co-operatively to create a community in which the Gospel values of freedom, love, justice and forgiveness are lived.
