A Catholic day school for girls from Year 7 to Year 12. Our College motto, "Este Fideles" - Be Faithful - is an ideal for us as we strive to be faithful to God, to ourselves and to each other. Our long tradition gives our students a sense of belonging, pride and confidence as we move together into the challenges of the 21st century. Within the Catholic tradition, we foster confident and independent young women of faith, who are creative and collaborative thinkers, sharing a love of learning and striving for excellence. They are courageous in mind and deed and are global citizens with a genuine concern for others.
St Vincent's is a Systemic Catholic Primary School, located in the Inner West Region of the Archdiocese of Sydney, in the municipality of Ashfield. It was established in the 1870's and for nearly one hundred years was administered by the Sisters of Charity.
St Vincent's is a multicultural school which embraces the motto "Learning Together", encouraging a spirit of mutual co-operation, respect and the unity of a vast range of cultural groups, thriving by learning together. Our school is two stream, with a student population of around 350. The staff consists of 28 teachers, including specialist teachers, teachers' aides and support staff who enthusiastically and professionally provide for the needs of our students and their families.
St Vincent's provides education in the six Key Learning Areas required by the NSW Board of Studies as well as the Religious Education Curriculum of the Catholic Education Office (see quick links). A broad range of co-curricula programs are offered through the school and all students are encouraged to participate in these to support and build on their special interests and skills.
At De La Salle Ashfield we strive to provide excellent educational opportunities so that our students will be able to meet the Academic demands and personal challenges of life. The young men graduating from De La Salle will be men of faith, action and compassion.
The College challenges young men to realise their potential in the De La Salle tradition by offering a diverse curriculum which meets the needs of the individual within a firm but caring environment.
The Lasallian school aims to provide a calm, affectionate and respectful environment for students and staff; to walk patiently with students through hard times, to congratulate them in times of success, to challenge them, and to make effort after effort to touch their hearts. The Lasallian school strives to provide a well-disciplined, academic and spiritual environment.
We aim to provide an excellent education to a diversity of students of all abilities. We are a place where a student who has not succeeded elsewhere can find a second chance; where gifted students are encouraged to use their gifts in service to the community.
